Rohrbach Library proudly hosts Pride and Passion, a spectacular graphic exploration of baseball in an earlier version of Jim Crow America, thanks to a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association.

Sept. 19 - Opening with historian Edward Morrison and renowned artist Ed Terrell  DETAILS

Sept. 22 - Oral historian Dr. Bob Allen on The Souls of Black Baseball: Barnstorming the Keystone State; former Harrisburg Black Giants player Jimmy Weedon; pickup Wiffle Ball on the library lawn with kids, families, and KU librarians: all part of KU Family Day!  DETAILS

Oct. 17 - Dr. Maria Sanelli hosts educators for a multimedia workshop about bringing the Negro Leagues into the K-12 curriculum  DETAILS
