Compustat North America provides comprehensive financial, statistical and market data for more than 21,000 U.S. and Canadian companies. These companies include over 10,000 active U.S. companies, more than 12,800 inactive U.S. companies and over 2,000 Canadian companies and over 1,700 indexes. Up to 20 years of annual and monthly data and up to 48 quarters of quarterly data is provided in this database. Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows information and many additional supplemental items coming from supplementary schedules and numbers reported in the footnotes are provided along with general company information, stock rankings, financial ratios, insider trading data, U.S. and Canadian economic data, industry and sub-industry information, indexes, and options and compliance data related to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Note: Compustat data is delivered via the Research Insight client that is available on-campus only. The client is installed in the Library's computer lab (RL200) and the DeFrancesco computer lab.
